2257 compliance: tranced.me/legal/2257
1. Creator Requirements
1.1 Identity Verification
All creators must complete identity verification before uploading any content. Verification requires:
- Valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driving licence)
- Proof that the ID holder is the account applicant (live selfie match or video verification)
- Minimum age of 18 years confirmed via document date of birth
- Acceptance of Creator Terms of Service
Verification is completed through our creator onboarding process. Accounts cannot upload content until verification is approved. Approval or rejection is communicated within 3 business days.
1.2 Performer Records (18 U.S.C. § 2257)
Creators who upload content depicting sexually explicit conduct must maintain records in compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257:
- Age verification documentation for every performer appearing in their content
- Government-issued ID proving each performer was 18+ at time of production
- Records retained for a minimum of 7 years from date of production
- Records available for inspection upon request by authorised parties
By submitting content, creators certify that all performers were 18 years of age or older at time of production. False certification is grounds for immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement.
See our full 18 U.S.C. 2257 Compliance Statement.
1.3 Content Ownership
Creators must own or hold the rights to all content they upload. By uploading, creators represent and warrant that:
- They are the sole creator or have written authorisation from all rights holders
- The content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or right of publicity
- Any music, audio, or visual elements are properly licensed or original
2. Content Review Process
2.1 Pre-Publication Review
All content undergoes review before being made available to users. The review process includes:
- Automated screening: AI-assisted review of title, description, category, and metadata for prohibited terms and policy violations
- Format validation: Format-specific checks (shorts, full sessions, programs, audio) for appropriate structure and completeness
- Manual review: Content flagged by automated screening is reviewed by a human moderator before publication
Content is assigned one of three statuses:
- Published: Passed all checks. Live immediately or within minutes.
- Pending review: Flagged for manual assessment. Creator notified within 48 hours.
- Rejected: Policy violation confirmed. Creator notified with specific reason. Appeal available within 14 days.
2.2 Quality Standards
Beyond compliance, content is assessed for quality. Tranced operates a tiered quality system:
- Open tier: Meets minimum compliance standards. Available with standard discovery.
- Confirmed tier: Elevated quality and compliance verification. Priority distribution, Veil unlock eligibility, and premium placement.
Quality criteria include: title accuracy, category appropriateness, completeness of content, and production standard.
3. Prohibited Content
3.1 Absolute Prohibitions — Zero Tolerance
The following content is prohibited without exception. Violations result in immediate account termination, content removal, and referral to law enforcement where required by law:
- Any content depicting, describing, or implying sexual activity involving persons under 18 years of age
- Any content using minor-adjacent language, characterisation, or framing in sexual contexts
- Non-consensual sexual activity depicted as real (not clearly framed as consensual adult fantasy)
- Content depicting actual violence, torture, or physical harm outside clearly consensual BDSM fantasy framing
- Snuff content (sexual content involving death)
- Content depicting real (non-consensual) distribution of private sexual images (revenge porn)
- Content facilitating illegal activity (trafficking, drug production, money laundering)
- Real identities or private information of individuals shared without consent (doxxing)
3.2 Restricted Categories — Require Explicit Creator Declaration
The following categories are permitted only when the creator explicitly classifies them at upload and they meet all framing requirements:
- NTR (Netorare): Must be framed as psychological fantasy. Cannot be mixed with Cuckold without explicit creator declaration at the content level.
- Cuckold: Must be framed as consensual partner-sharing. Cannot be mixed with NTR without explicit declaration.
- QoS (Queen of Spades): Permitted as standalone category. Cannot be mixed with NTR without explicit declaration.
- Hypnosis/mind control: Must be framed as consensual adult fantasy. No real-world hypnosis instruction targeting non-consenting parties.
- Forced/coercion scenarios: Must include explicit consensual fantasy framing in description. Reviewed manually before publication.
3.3 Soft-Flagged Terms
Content containing the following terms in titles or descriptions is automatically sent for manual review before publication:
- hypno-slave, mind-break, forced, coerced
These terms are not automatic rejections but require a human reviewer to confirm appropriate framing.
