1. Payment Processor and PCI Compliance

1.1 CCBill, LLC

All payments on Tranced are processed by CCBill, LLC, a leading payment processor specializing in high-risk merchant accounts. CCBill is:

  • PCI DSS Level 1 certified (highest security standard)
  • Registered Money Services Business
  • Licensed in multiple jurisdictions
  • Member of the Electronic Transactions Association

Tranced Media does NOT store, process, or handle card numbers, CVV codes, or full payment details. All sensitive payment data is handled entirely by CCBill.

1.2 Our Role in Payments

  • We transmit subscription tier selection and Veil pack selection to CCBill
  • We receive payment confirmation, transaction IDs, and subscription status
  • We receive NO card numbers, expiry dates, or CVV codes
  • All payment pages are hosted by CCBill (FlexForms)

Prices inclusive of applicable VAT where required by EU law. Currency conversion handled by CCBill at prevailing rates.

2.2 Price Lock Guarantee

Your subscription price at signup is locked permanently as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted. If you cancel and later re-subscribe, current market pricing applies.

3. Billing Cycle and Auto-Renewal

3.1 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically on the monthly anniversary of your signup date (or annual date for yearly plans). You authorize CCBill to charge your payment method on each renewal without requiring further action.

3.2 Renewal Notifications

  • 3 days before renewal: Email reminder of upcoming charge
  • Day of renewal: Payment processed
  • On successful renewal: Confirmation email with receipt

3.3 Proration

Mid-cycle upgrades are prorated. Mid-cycle downgrades take effect at next billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused time except as stated in Cancellation Policy.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • CCBill Self-Service: ccbill.com/cs/consumer_support.cgi (fastest method)
  • Email: billing@tranced.me (24-48 hour processing)
  • Account Settings: Settings → Subscription → Cancel (if available)

4.2 Cancellation Effect

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period
  • Access continues until that date
  • No partial refunds for unused days (except EU consumer rights)
  • Veil balance and progress remain if you resubscribe later

4.3 EU Consumer Cooling-Off

EU consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital content subscriptions, per the Consumer Rights Directive. This right is waived if you begin consuming content immediately (which you do upon signup). By subscribing, you acknowledge this waiver.

5. Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted within the eligibility window to billing@tranced.me with transaction ID.

5.2 Veil Refunds

  • Unused Veil: Eligible for refund within 14 days of purchase if no Veil has been spent
  • Partially used: No refund for consumed Veil (digital goods)
  • Erroneous purchase: Full refund if reported within 24 hours and no usage

5.3 Refund Method

Refunds are processed through CCBill to the original payment method. Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on your bank.

6. Veil Virtual Credits

6.1 What is Veil

Veil is a non-transferable platform access token used exclusively within Tranced. Important legal characteristics:

  • Has NO monetary value outside the Platform
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash, cryptocurrency, or fiat currency
  • Cannot be transferred between user accounts
  • Cannot be sold, traded, or exchanged outside Tranced
  • Is classified as a digital access right, not a stored-value instrument
  • Does not constitute electronic money or payment instrument under EU law

6.3 Veil Usage

Each Veil spend is logged with timestamp, amount, and purpose. Full transaction history available in account settings.

6.4 Free Veil Earning

Veil can be earned through platform engagement (no purchase required):

  • Complete onboarding: 100 Veil
  • Daily session streak: 5 Veil per session (max 50/day)
  • 7-day streak milestone: 25 Veil
  • 14-day streak milestone: 50 Veil
  • 30-day streak milestone: 120 Veil
  • Account anniversary: 50-200 Veil (based on tenure)

Rate limiting applies to prevent abuse. Multiple accounts by same person detected will result in forfeiture of earned Veil.

6.5 Veil Expiration

Veil does NOT expire as long as your account remains active. Veil is forfeited only upon account termination or deletion.

7. Payment Failures and Grace Period

7.1 Failed Payment Process

7.2 During Grace Period

  • Access to current tier continues for 7 days
  • Multiple payment methods can be added via CCBill portal
  • No late fees or penalties (just service downgrade)

7.3 Reactivation

Update payment method in CCBill portal to automatically reactivate subscription. If subscription expired, new signup required (current pricing applies, original price lock lost).

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

8.1 Chargeback Policy

A chargeback (disputing a charge with your bank) should be a last resort. Contact us first — we resolve most billing issues directly.

8.2 Chargeback Consequences

  • Immediate: Account access suspended pending review
  • During review: Cannot access any content or features
  • If resolved in our favor: Account reactivated, access restored
  • If chargeback stands: Account termination, balance forfeiture
  • Repeat chargebacks: Permanent ban from Platform

8.3 Fraud Prevention

Each payment is linked to account activity logs (Veil spends, content unlocks, session history) for dispute response. This protects legitimate users and merchants from fraud.

8.4 Friendly Fraud

False chargebacks ("friendly fraud") — disputing legitimate charges — violate these Terms and may result in:

  • Account termination
  • Forfeiture of all Veil and progress
  • Reporting to fraud databases
  • Legal action for recovery of fees and damages

9. Billing Descriptor

Charges on your card statement will appear as:

  • "T MEDIA" — primary descriptor
  • "CCBill *T MEDIA" — in some jurisdictions
  • "T MEDIA EUR XX.XX" — with amount

The descriptor does not include "Tranced" or adult content references for privacy.

If you do not recognize a charge: Contact billing@tranced.me with the last 4 digits of your card and transaction date BEFORE disputing with your bank. Most unrecognized charges are family members or forgotten subscriptions — we can resolve quickly.

10. Taxes and Fees

10.1 VAT and Sales Tax

Prices displayed include applicable VAT/sales tax where required by law:

  • EU: VAT included at your country's rate (shown at checkout)
  • Other jurisdictions: Tax applied per local requirements

10.2 Currency

Base currency is EUR (€). CCBill handles currency conversion for non-EUR cards at prevailing rates with full transparency.

10.3 No Hidden Fees

There are no hidden fees, setup fees, or maintenance fees. You pay only the advertised subscription price or Veil pack price plus applicable tax.

11. Payment Security

11.1 PCI Compliance

CCBill is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. This is the highest security standard for payment processing. Your card data is never stored on Tranced servers.

11.2 3D Secure

CCBill supports 3D Secure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode) for enhanced fraud protection. You may be prompted for additional verification during checkout.

11.3 Payment Data

We receive only:

  • Subscription tier and status
  • Transaction reference ID
  • Payment confirmation
  • Last 4 digits of card (for support identification only)

We do NOT receive: full card number, CVV, expiry date, or billing address.
